Web Designer The Role This position will include graphic design mainly for web, but possibly for other multimedia and print. You will be involved with the entire design and build process from conception and prototyping through to build and test. On a typical project you will be asked to develop visual concepts and designs that reflect the business and creative requirements from a predetermined brief. The role will involve working on a variety of challenging and interesting projects for a wide range of clients.
Typical Tasks Develop & frame creative concepts according to creative brief requirements Creation of vector and raster graphics for web, multimedia and sometimes print Creating XHTML & CSS based websites integrating our bespoke CMS system. Requirements Bachelors degree preferred in design/multi-media related discipline Proficient to expert in PhotoShop, Dreamweaver, Flash Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, XHTML Ability to translate business requirements into marketing orientated creative design Good verbal and written communication skills Ability to work both collaboratively and independently Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously Ability to work to a deadline, either independently or as a team-player Excellent attention to detail High level of creative flair
Bonus Skills Javascript, PHP, Perl or any server or client side programming
Salary Negotiable depending on skills and experience
