Haverhill Chamber of Commerce & Industry
Pure Energy has been involved with Haverhill Chamber of Commerce
since its launch in 2004.
It was important for the Haverhill Chamber to rapidly achieve
a strong online presence. We designed and developed an interactive,
database driven website that we feel captures the vigour and enterprise
that permeates Haverhill’s business community. The site also reinforces
the Chamber brand identity through its use of the Chamber logo,
which was originally designed by Robert Connor, a sixth former
at Castle Manor School.
Pure
Energy was also one of the organisers of the highly successful,
inaugural Haverhill Business Awards, which culminated at a Gala
Ball in May 2005.
We were responsible for designing the Business Award trophy;
this was inspired by the Chamber logo, which was carefully translated
into a 3D image before being passed on to Taylor’s Foundry to
cast in aluminium.
It was very important that the event had a strong brand indentity
and the 3D Business Award trophy played an important role in that
brand identity. It was presented across multiple media from print
through web and ultimately in D1 quality digital video.
We produced much of the promotional material for the initiative,
including advertising graphics, large format print, banners, the
Gala Ball invitation and 12 page programme.
In addition, Pure Energy put together the soundtrack for the
event and created the big screen video presentation, which supported
the awards ceremony. We even wrote the fanfare, which preceded
the announcement of the winner in each category.
“You have certainly revolutionised the concept of Chambers
of Commerce with this glittering event that was very much state
of the art and 21st century.”
Tim Marks, Mayor of Haverhill
